I will lay here until my body washes up on shore.
![]() Embrace Them Ghosts on Facebook 14th August's edition of Band Slam Sunday was really awesome. All the bands that performed were really good live - I don't think they missed a note and even if they did, it went by unnoticed. Everything was just fuckin' tight and the entire show was the bomb. I went down with the main intention of catching Embrace Them Ghosts, since I've met them before at Punk Goes Local! back in June, and it's always nice to see familiar faces around :) But the other bands that played made my trip down to Se7en1nch that Sunday evening worth every single bit. ![]() ![]() Above The Depth on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter ATD was the first band to play, so I had quite a bit of space to roam about freely to get the photos. And I think I've seen them once before at another gig back at *Scape a while back... but I just can't remember, since I went there as myself and not with the identity of a photographer. ![]() ![]() ![]() Fervent (Lives of Others) on Facebook The crowd started to come in as the next band took the stage so I had to watch my back. Despite the not-so-big space, the crowd still had it going. I spotted a few familiar faces in the sea of people and I half wonder if they recognise me too, since I've also seen them around the very few shows I've been to. ![]() ![]() ![]() E-thereal on Facebook Oh, I was honestly amazed at their guitars ('cause I haven't seen anyone wielding these things in person before). And they all looked like killer rockers with long hair and angry faces! Or maybe it's just me, and it probably is, and I also felt like E-thereal really killed it. Their songs were all so tight and fierce! I really like. ![]() ![]() ![]() Embrace Them Ghosts on Facebook Of course they played awesome and the crowd had fun... which then made it harder for me to move about. A-ha. ![]() ![]() ![]() Bridges on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter And Bridges closed the show on an awesome note. The crowd even asked for one more song and fortunately, there was just enough time for another. The entire show was so crazy. I almost died. And I've severely abused the use of the word 'awesome' in this post but the entire night was a blast and even 'awesome' is an understatement. Next up, Oshiego's debut album launch! It looks mad already, but the next week of school looks even madder :( Oh well... The epic-ness of this even will probably even out the suckiness of school. I can't wait :) |
