Bid the forest a fond goodbye as you brace the wind and take to the sky.

HAPPY93KIDS@OURPATCHOFGRASS.COM

Yesterday was the bomb! :D Last submission at 1, welcoming picnic for Tai with the '93 kids and CG retreat at Woodgrove! It wasn't as free and easy for me 'cause I had to lug around an extra laptop! If I knew Jamie'd brought hers, I wouldn't bring mine x( Anyway, it wasn't that bad (but both my shoulders are hurting now), I'm already used to the weight :) Oh, but the D90 body is REALLY heavy. Still find it heavy after so long!

I only met the '93 kids after their movie, 'cause their movie started about 12 and I was only free after one. Besides, I'd already watched Narnia, so it was okay. Played JuBeat while waiting for their movie to end... I guess I'm still better at DDR (but I'm so fat I can't play Max300 anymore)!

Hurried over to meet them at Carrefour when my game ended and... Oh my goodness, I miss them so much. I miss hanging out with them. The atmosphere is so different and heartwarming, I've nearly forgotten what it's like to come back to such a moment... which I've been missing every Sunday.

I'm such a fool.

Shopping for food for our picnic! Just like the one before Tai left for Australia. Oh, what nostalgia :')

Val was like speeding away, leaving the rest of us behind!

Omnomnom, BREAD.
It somehow looks really nice under that lighting.

I don't know what's with them and bread. We got a baguette and a loaf of bread in the end. LOL. I think we actually wanted to get more bread. o_o

:D
We've all grown used to the presence of a camera around, we aren't shy to hog the spotlight. The photographer just has to be quick :p

Eliza says this will be her future bouquet of flower for her wedding. Hahaha and I remembered the broccoli was the gummy bears' house...

Lolol what is this I don't even

Oh, and Aaron... He tried to take a picture without taking out the lens cover. And when he removed the cover, he dropped it instantly, thinking there was a string attached to the cover. Lololol

I don't even
But you're cute okay! Not unglam :)

I don't know why, but there's also ALWAYS sushi in my picnics! What's with sushi and bread?

Tai, you're so mean!

And Joshua joined us when we were done with shopping! So we headed off to... OUR PATCH OF GRASS.

Eliza wouldn't cross the road until it was green man! She said it was one of her new year's resolution :o

Kanchiong spiders~

:D

Us watching Aaron run up the escalator on the other side going the opposite direction. Not surprised he made it ;) He's a runner (Josh too, so cool! Unlike me :( Fat already lolol)!

We love the camera :)

After a short walk, we finally reached OUR PATCH OF GRASS!

'Cause I'm the photographer, my role is to take photos only. ;x
(Check out the baguette sticking out of Val's plastic bag!)

Hannah's handpainted shoes~! It's lovely, isn't it?

Oh, I just remembered why we bought so many loaves of bread.
'CAUSE TAI HAD LIKE 5 PACKETS OF HAM.

So we had LOADS of ham bread.

:D

The ham packets were like sealed in the way where you need a sharp object to get it open, and apparently somebody forgot to bring the scissors! So we had a little competition to see who could open the ham packets first :p I've to grab the video from Hannah, so well...

We played this little game during the picnic before Tai left, one where you'd to guess what we mixed into...

You get what I mean. The victim this time was Josh :)

He looks so stressed :(

Then we continued eating other stuffszxc.

Look at Aaron reaching into the bag of chicken :)
Oh the chicken we bought? We didn't tell the guy to heat it up for us :( So we had like, cold chicken...

LOL (cold) CHICKEN.

While eating halfway, Eliza suddenly brought up the topic of the chicken breast... wondering why chickens had breasts but no nipples.

So Aaron explained... that you don't see chickens breastfeeding their chicks.

It was funnier there :( Inside joke, I guess!

We continued eating and talking crap and Eliza found something that looked like a feather on her chicken wing. Lolol.

We didn't buy a lot of food, but we couldn't finish them all either! And Tai kept calling the tissue '1-ply tissue' 'cause he was really amazed 1-ply tissue was actually manufactured! LOL.
"Can someone pass me the 1-ply tissue?"

The weather was okay - there just wasn't any wind ;(

There were like 3 cameras yesterday. Lol.

So... how could we leave without any jump shots! Omg. :p

There were actually many fail shots.

This therefore concludes that Josh is a good kickee.

This was quite fail, but it really makes me laugh whenever I see it xD

This is really nice. Josh has a talent.

Nearly like the HSM jump xD
I was landing k :(

Lol, what are you two doing?

:)

Group shot with yesterday's photographer, me! :p

Playing with Eliza's popcam from NY. The boys were amazed by the sound it made when it took a shot! Lololol. Boys.

While we were enjoying our picnic, there was this group of middle-aged people... They seemed like they were playing amazing race. We were wondering if they were like having some company day out. LOL and we were just cheering them on from our picnic mat ^_^

Then later, there was this group of Japanese students, like on a school trip, so there was actually a mass of them. Probably a cohort? Or the entire school o_o Not interested, haha. Three of them ran ahead and were all talking at the same time, so we actually didn't know they were Japanese students at first -_- They didn't even sound like they were speaking any proper language!

I didn't take this photo, Aaron did! It's really quite funny, they were like galloping away....

Then the rest followed, and I distinctly heard one of them speak Japanese. Being friendly, Hannah and Eliza waved to the few of them who actually looked over. Being even funnier, Tai said out loud, "Konnichiwa~" and this pair who were waving, jumped a little and started waving much more frantically! Hahahahahaha.

Valery kind of left earlier 'cause she was off to pass presents to her classmates who were going overseas.

Look at Tai's constipated new trademark face!

Then we played Monopoly Deal! It's like everywhere now, why?

Then we left for the BBQ~

The rest left us, Eliza, Hannah and I to head to Woodgrove alone. So... we took the wrong side and took a huge loop around the area before reaching the house.

Check out our...

... feast...

... and makeshift BBQ pit.

When we reached, there was like, this left only. Hahaha we didn't eat that of course.

This, bacon wrapped sausage, was the best :D But it reminded me of Jigglypuff's Honey Bacon Enoki Mushroom Wrap! x)

It was nice to see Isabelle around :D Haven't seen her.. in ages. LOL. She's a (camera) shy one.

Marcus made this salad. But it didn't look very appetising for some reason.

:O
These guys make me want to get a BB cause they all have one! BB is not as fun if not for their BBM! Hahaha. Oh well, I have like... 5 more months to think. But at the same time, I cannot let technology take over my life. I have to be as firm as Dahao! >:O

Andrea came later. And she complained of how she always had pictures of her with chicken wings! :p

EEW :(

:)))

Then the guys cooked beef! Omg o_o They marinated it in soy sauce so I wolfed it down. SOY SAUCE.

:D OMYNOMNOMGEWDNESS

BBQs are not complete without roasted marshmellows~

:O

Group shot!

Tried this drink after seeing it on Hannah's tumblr and seeing it in Carrefour! I chose the vitamin C one, 'cause I need vitamin C. LOL.

Chicken wing again!

Wah, Jeanette. You damn joker manzxc.

Samurai guy roasting marshmellow :o LOLOL

Whose strange footprints are those?!

These girls were watching the others clear up/finish up the salad :p Like I said, my role was to take photos only ^_^

Not everyone stayed so... for the rest of us, we had the entire house! Woohoo!

We watched Shrek 3 in the basement (sounds so cool saying that, hehe. But it was really a basement, k. Just well furbished.) and it was so cold! :(

After the movie, we went to sleep... And we had Al Ameen for breakfast ^_^ The cheese egg prata was really filling and I only had one piece... But I felt like I could eat a cow. Oh well, it's always like that. My stomach is dying on me.

:)

I LOVE YOU GUYS. I MISS ALL THE TIMES WE HAD TOGETHER!

Oh gosh, this is a really long post! Hahaha. We took like 400+ photos and... 1/4 of them are here! And the holidays are here! But this time, I'm going to make full use of my time. I won't laze around but... heck, I'm going to be as busy as a bee! I guess... given my mentality, it's better for me to be surrounded by people.

My mind hasn't been well lately... but... I'll be fine. I'll be strong. :)

Anyway! I had some inspiration lately - I wrote a bit :D Enjoy!

"Georg! Georg!" Tom called out. "Do you see that boy out there?" He tore his gaze from out of the window back towards his friend.

"Who?" A boy with ridiculously straight and long brown hair looked over from behind the cashier. "I don't see anyone out there."

Frowning a little, Tom pushed himself over to where his friend was, in his stylist stool. "There!" he pointed, towards the ice cream parlour. "At Häagen-Dazs!"

Georg paused for a moment and squinted in that direction. "The one... with super black hair? Exploded in all directions?" He made a face.

A smile lit up Tom's face. "Yeah! Him! He has such awesome hair!" he grinned and wheeled himself backwards. "I'd like to work on his hair..."

The brunette shook his head in disbelief. "You're mad," Georg said, slowly as he tended to more important matters of the saloon.

"Well... Maybe I am, but... do you think he'd try us out? I mean, our saloon's pretty renowned and we're a new outlet here..."

"If you really want him to try us out, then go ask him."

Tom jumped a little. "Now you're mad." He laughed. "His hair is too awesome..."

"Yours is as awesome too," Georg complimented as he walked out of the cashier, brushing his hands on his pants. "So just go ask, if you really want him to come over."

It was true that Tom had awesome hair too - he had his hair dyed and braided into dirty blonde dreadlocks a month ago.

Georg's statement had Tom hesitate for a few seconds before Tom shook his head. "Nah, I don't think I'll be able to pull it off properly without him thinking I'm gay or something."

His friend shrugged, before disappearing behind to turn the lights on. "Whatever floats your boat, Tom."
