Forgive me for tomorrow, If I'm late, I've died before I wake.
Oh yes, the 11th of February wasn't just graced by the awesome dinner with my '93 kids, but by a series of events on that particular day itself that just set everything right, set everything in motion... It still feels surreal, even now, how everything just fell in place at the right time... Everything. So on the 11th, I've officially withdrew from SP. That day, I was supposed to meet Suyin for a drink. Then Tina asked to join and later Suyin couldn't make it, so yeah, I ended up having tea with Tina. I hadn't planned how the day would go - I just knew I was supposed to submit the form then go for the dinner... Tina then called and arranged to meet in town at about 3 plus. I don't know how I procrastinated until I only reached SP at 1450 LOL. Walking in to school, Comme Des Enfants started playing on my iPod... before someone tapped me on the shoulders. I was surprised to see Ian (a guy from the other CF class that had classes with my class, a guy who's not the same age as us, a guy who's in the course I wanted, didn't get in due to wrong order of choices during JPSAE then later got rejected during appeals...) 'cause he was the last person I'd expect to bump into, even more on such a day. He asked how I was doing, I told him I was withdrawing. He was only half surprised, since so many people from my course wanted out, but was a little impressed that I was applying to NAFA, and into Graphic Design... 'cause this made me his future competitor. We'll see each other out there on the battlefiend next time, Ian. Hahahaha. With Comme Des Enfants still playing and Ian talking to me, someone from behind suddenly greeted me with a 'Bonjour'. Believe me, I was quite shocked. xD The extra language class I took was German and Comme Des Enfants is the first French song I've ever started to listen to... So yes, I was shocked to hear someone say 'Bonjour' to me. It was Khairul and Najib, with their group of friends, lolol. Yes, then we all parted and I left for the SD main office... and also to get the last signature. When I reached the main office, the receptionist greeted me with a smile. I think it's an obligatory smile... They do this to students leaving every year... Lol. I got the form and returned her smile, then left the office. The SD main office is literally at one end of the campus. I debated a little in my head whether to walk inside, or outside... and I chose to walk on the inside, for some reason unknown. It was the longer way but... I guess it's because that was probably the last time I'd roam the school like that. Hahaha. Then I had to debate again when I reached T14, whether to cut through SPectrum, or just walk along the corridors of T15 - something told me to walk through the corridors (which was also the longer way). Guess who I bumped into, around the corner. Mr Chong. Mr Noel (fucking) Chong. My lower secondary Form Teacher! FML and FYL. I took 3 glances at him and he also returned those glances, wondering what scary looking kid was looking at him... He recognised me! BEST PART OF THE ENTIRE DAY. We've all kind of lost contact about a year after he left my class... And it's really heartwarming to see him again. He hasn't changed much, just put on a bit more weight :') But he's still the same Mr Chong that brought us through our lower secondary school year in such an awesome manner :') Then I got my withdrawal approved... and rushed off to meet Tina. I was about an entire hour late :p but yeah, we did talk a lot too, catching up and just normal chat... :) The next best thing of the day was the birthday dinner, which I've already posted its awesomeness last night :) 11th of February was really quite awesome.
