I'm playing this one close to my heart - I'll never let go, say you'll never let go.
![]() Right! Today I got my first ever prime lens! /flails like a magikarp/ The bokeh's super good! Fished it out with Jeremy's help and his never ending knowledge of cameras. I really have a lot to learn. Anyway, the guy who sold me the lens was super nice. Jeremy was a bit late so I had no choice but to tell the guy I'm still new to this whole thing and that I didn't know how to check at all. Guess what, I actually remembered everything he said as opposed to the usual times where I just stone and nod but all the information just bounces off my skull. After that, we headed to *Scape to support Alex and Joel's stall at the sub-culture bazaar. It was awesome, a brilliant subject to test out my new lens :D ![]() ![]() ![]() Everything went perfect until I didn't catch this boy in time as the wind got stronger. :( He fell head first into the ground and fuck my life, his nose got dented. Argh! I felt like a total loser 'cause I didn't take proper care of Alex's doll. ;___; I was scared he would still be angry even after I offered to pay for the face-up or anything to touch up on... but thankfully he did! But obviously he would still be angry and disappointed, it can't be helped... Sorry :( Sub-culture bazaar. So yes, people cosplayed. Quite disappointing to see girls wear their lolita dresses without petticoats underneath. Petticoats aren't really that expensive, ladies. And it's a good investment so why aren't you wearing one? I wasn't exactly dressed up like them in a costume but I joked about how my usual outfits everyday are like costumes. I'm so amusing. Then there was this guy who cosplayed as a Masked Rider! It doesn't look bad from afar, and I really got to salute this guy 'cause he probably handmade it himself (the materials are not super hard plastic, it was mainly... softer stuff with pores in them, I saw.) and it still looks pretty cool. ![]() We stopped him to get a picture of him and he was nice to pose for us! Hehe. Plus the background kind of matches. 8D Later I met Cedric for a movie (Red Riding Hood, and woah, Shiloz doesn't look that bad :D) and dinner. We had wonton mee at Graffiti Cafe and awesome fries from Best Fries Forever! Woohoo, super awesome. As usual, we had lots of shit to talk about, since our lives are mostly full of shit. /cues big sigh/ We walked up to Orchard area to get yoghurt and decided to try some night shots. Super awesome! Ahaha the lens is really the highlight of the day... except for the fact that it was neutralised by the doll smashing his nose as he fell... /second big sigh/ ![]() See that white keychain? It's the merlion! It's super cute haha and everybody couldn't tell it was the merlion at first... Guess it was too cute ;D Labels: ▼ |
