DAY OUT AT USS WITH OHf(:! :D
I almost didn't make it for this meet, but I'm glad I made it still... 'Cause I know I won't see you all TOGETHER for at least another good year! I thought I'd be fine passing this meet... my heart thought otherwise :')

I MISSED YOU ALL LIKE THE WORLD WAS ENDING TOMORROW.

Anyway, I guess I had fun despite the fact that my iPod didn't make it through... It's okay, I gotta be thankful it was my iPod that didn't make it and not my D90! Aha.


Only I needed to get a ticket 'cause the rest got theirs already. Thankfully, some other guy at the entrance had extra tickets (his friends boycotted him last minute) so I kind of got it slightly cheaper than from the ticket booth itself. It also saved us time from queueing up! So it probably was a blessing in disguise, huh. :)

I guess the only fun part in USS is chasing the mascots and having a picture with them. Haha or maybe it's just me... I didn't take a lot of rides 'cause I'm a scaredy cat! :D

It was about midday, and it was scorching hot. It's the kind of heat where you know you'll definitely turn slightly darker at the end of the day. So, we decided to go for the water ride... I guess everyone thought of going for that ride too, 'cause the waiting time was 60 minutes. Awesome.

Brenda and I entertained them all with camp songs. :)

My iPod was totally dead! I was so upset.

I guess they probably were not happy with us being prepared so they gave us a big splash. It was exactly like someone dumping a bucket of water on you. The others who climbed out of the ride weren't as wet as us! Ugh!

My shoes were totally soaked (I wore extra comfy socks that day, great!) so I gave up and bought a pair of slippers. I needed a new one anyway...

Later, we retreated for tea in Far Far Away!







Gingy! I didn't know where to buy him but now I do :D I haven't bought him yet though... ;D
When we left the shop, Adele spotted Puss in Boots! But we were a bit too late :( They said he'd be back later so we decided to go to Madagascar first, and we saw the penguin! Hehe, we were joking about how my poses started to get horny after the premature death of my iPod ;(

It wasn't long before we saw Puss in Boots and weI rushed into the queue. :D



He pretended to be shy when I stepped up to take a picture with him so I pretended to not want to take a picture with him. Then I laughed and he took my hand kissed it, HAHA. So cutesy! I wanted to put my arm around him! Meh!
While the guys headed off to take the smaller roller coaster in Far Far Away, Adele and I ran off to Madagascar to find King Louie, but we found the entire crew dancing! Nice :D

Later when Adele and I headed back to Far Far Away, Shrek and Fiona turned up! So, we chased them down too. HAHAHA and pulled Brenda along with us.


Fiona totally ostracised me please. It's like you can totally photoshop me out of the picture and it will still look complete! The three of us ran up to Fiona's side, but Adele nicely went over to Shrek's side. Then Fiona said (to Brenda), "Oh! You're wearing my favourite colour! You can stand in the middle!" And she pulled Brenda to the middle, leaving me to Shrek's hand... Nice ah.
Galton had to leave earlier, boo! We were nearing the end of USS, so we just walked through and stopped to look at some of the shops before leaving. We bumped into 3 more mascots!


Woody Woodpecker!


Frankenstein! Adele was just telling me about him when he stepped out fresh from behind the scenes! We followed him for a bit just so we can get a picture with him! Thankfully he didn't walk too far. And look, don't all the mascots just love to wrap me in their loving arms.


Woody Woodpecker and his girlfriend! She joined him as we were following Frankenstein :p We quickly headed back for this xD
Somehow Jason's dad booked a room at the Hard Rock Hotel and I didn't know about it until the day itself :( Boo! The hotel is so nice!
