I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends - they're in my head.

Random note: I procrastinated for an hour on Tumblr before I actually started on this post.

Right! The past week has been a blast! I've been spending quite a bit of time around Suyin and Cornelyus, making an entry and about to start making connections out there! Right now, I'm just really thankful for everything that've happened so far: Me, not getting my single-digit result for the O's, not getting into the course I wanted so badly in poly, not getting into anything else partially interesting in poly, not getting off on the right foot, not getting the person I thought I would, not completing the course I was in, not getting anything I wanted. In fact, I've got everything I needed through that period in life. Looking back now, I've learned not to ask God to take away my pain - instead, I should ask Him for strength, to carry on, wisdom and patience, to act, and grace and love, to forgive.

It's still too early to say if things are actually beginning to fall into place, but I'm sure things are starting to make sense (to me)! Last Saturday, Suyin called me about 2-3 hours before the Audi Fashion Festival and asked me to be her photographer for the show ('cause her photographer couldn't make it at the last minute)! I managed to make it down in time and the show was really good! The models were really pretty, gorgeous, in fact. I can't post the pictures up (again), but they'll be up on my Flickr page and most definitely on Suyin's fashion blog over at Popspoken!

Bumped into Zakk after AFF! The world is too damn small.

Later that day, Suyin followed me to find 62 on their photography outing at the Esplanade. And then we had dinner at Just Acia. As usual, we were talking about everything and anything, and then making jokes and laughing our guts out. I made Suyin leave the restaurant just to laugh (but she says she went out to blow her nose, pfft!) 'cause the joke was just getting out of hand~

Oh yes! I met Jonathan, Estina and Christine while getting my drink in the restaurant. Not forgetting Ritchie, one of my church mates whom I haven't seen in so damn long after he joined the Young Adults :(

Both of us were pretty drained but we didn't wanna go home yet, so we decided to walk around a bit, which then we bumped into Bingrong, who just knocked off. He decided to join us to walk the long way to the station... and we were all just laughing all the way. Since I lived the furthest, I had to get off at the same stop as Bingrong 'cause I think everyone else on the train thought I'm mad... :(

Oh yes, I bought a macaron :{D This is only my second time eating a macaron...

On Sunday, I met Cornelyus and a quarter of his editorial team. It's safe to say I'm probably the youngest on his team and that I'm still blown away at how small I am where I am right now. It's not even okay to say that 'Oh you're only turning 18' or 'You've just started!' 'cause I'm not young anymore. And I'm so unaccomplished. I need to work really hard.

On Monday I bought a new skirt, and finally got covers for my phone! I actually dropped my poor phone on hard stoney ground on Saturday... :(

I've got the red cover in white too 'cause my phone is white! And of course a white cover, not to mention it's HELLO KITTY. But it makes my phone feel really bulky (and covers up the awesome white back of my phone) so I guess I'll only use it on days where I'll be doing lots of hardcore nonsense. It's something like changing clothes for my phone like I do all the time.

Also, I dropped by SP to eat this Japanese curry thing, but the store was closed! Dang :( But at the same time, I managed to talk to some of my mates there. Caught up a bit though we saw each other about a week ago or something... Finally talked to Ian and got the concept he has for a shoot and have been wanting to tell me for a while already!

Coincidentally, one of my mates commented on how 'crazy' I've become after I left school. I guess... I just finally learned to let go. (I do still maintain my image when I'm out there.)

I spent Tuesday clearing up my portfolio and getting around to brainstorm a few ideas for my name card. I've got some ideas right now. :)

Just yesterday, Suyin took Cornelyus and I to the Asia Fashion Summit. (I styled my hair, and thankfully my hair was cooperative! I haven't styled my hair for about an entire month.) It was just mainly talks and all with pretty big names, and though the talks were pretty thick and chunky, I actually understood quite a bit! My mind switched off a little towards the end 'cause information overload. :(

I watched Suyin fly from one person to another, networking and talking... I was so quiet, but I know I'll get used to this. My hair was pretty outstanding and people weren't surprised to hear I was from NAFA - loud dressing and all... But it's just a school...

The media pass was really pretty, and the pink lanyard was really good.

Suyin got me these HK wrapped candies and purple leopard print sticker thingy! So nice of her :{D

One camwhore shot to go with this post.

This is Cornelyus!

And Suyin, as you guys should recognise by now.

Cornelyus was cracking so many jokes and making us laugh so hard; best part is, he wasn't even trying! He's just naturally talented with facial expressions and horsing around.

Suyin asked if I wanted to go to the Raoul show after AFS but I was too tired so I turned her down :( I don't know if I should have went (it looks really awesome from the pictures I've seen, sobs), but when I reached home, I died instantly on my bed for 12 hours.

Oh yes, we saw the Class 95FM crew at City Hall Starbucks as we left AFS! We asked to take a picture with them (since we've been taking pictures the entire day), and we got some freebies! Just a Class 95FM lanyard, a huge weekly planner (for tables) and a Starbucks voucher for a 12 fl oz drink. I'm guessing that would be a Tall size... Starbucks has been such a name in my life ever since the O's, and even more after they built one in SP! Jean Danker wore really awesome killer platforms, and this other caucausian guy deejay wore the same Doc. Martens as me! Hahaha awesome day, so much fun but I didn't get enough sleep the day before to make it through... :)

All in all, I guess I've been making use of my prolonged holidays well. I still haven't got a job, God knows why, none of those I've applied to got back to me. I am in such deep shit, I can't even.
