We wait in silence, speaking in whispers.

The past week has been really entertaining♥ with a very interesting turn of events. I guess that's what you get from just leaning on God and letting Him take the wheel. Things have been very different lately - even I feel different, in a good way. I'm still learning and surprisingly having lots of fun while at it.

Monday
Jeremy got inked.

Of course I'm a really good friend, therefore I accompanied him. I thought it was quite narcissistic of him to ink his name on his torso, but oh well, he likes it. It took one hour, and we headed off for the SD barbecue at ECP.

I really don't belong there. I've absolutely no idea why I still turn up. I don't even know why I am still asked along. I never existed, until I left.

Tuesday
Hakim and I went for Laselle's graduation show after breakfast. The freshies were there too, for research/studies for one of their modules. But oh, the Bachelors' and Masters' pieces were too damn good. It really isn't like 'work' anymore, it's literally art and when you see it, there's a different feeling. Gosh, I can't explain. It's just really too awesome for words.

Wednesday
I stayed home and I am thankful for Cheryl, Louis and Jeremy. ♥

Also, I managed to ask to photograph a gig on Saturday officially. I think I didn't fare too badly. Thank you Jeremy for lending me your flash. I think I might be buying it from you, hoho.

Thursday
Photography trip with Cuixia, Michelle, Noeleen and Jeremy. I can't believe I actually volunteered to model for them (since we couldn't find a subject to photograph and there really isn't much scenery in Singapore... not much without personal transport).

We headed to the railway station first and it was really humid. But we had fun.

Later we headed to town and took a few more pictures before having dinner and going home. The rest of the pictures are with the photographer of the day and I'm just waiting...

Maybe that's why I'm always behind the camera 'cause I obviously fail at even being a still object.

Friday
I went down for a job interview in the morning which didn't take toolong, which gave me enough time to meet Cheryl for lunch+date after. It was the last day of her exams too, so we kind of decided to go out together :)

We had Aston's for lunch and later asked Jeremy to join us for a session of pool. I initially asked Jeremy out too for NAFA's graduation show but he didn't wanna go, which in turn made me not want to go. At least not alone. :( What a friend.

So we walked around Plaza Sing and had fun in Daiso, buying all kinds of nonsense and playing with whatever looked fun. Hoho, haven't been this dumb with good friends for a while.

Haha, /d e a d/

Saturday
It was pretty scary, but somehow I managed to make it to the venue alone and met the organiser alone. Things only get done with initiative so I thought it's about time I stepped out of my comfort zone.

I didn't manage to take many good shots with the first few bands 'cause I was still a little afraid (and this is only the second show/gig I've gone to as photographer), a little apprehensive... But everything got better when I met a familiar face, Kelvin!

The show was about 6 hours long - I still can't believe I survived it all. I think I would've gone deaf if not for Kelvin's advice. Hoho but my left ear is still a little bit blocked... Gosh.

The pictures turned out pretty awesome - I love the external flash! But it's really heavy, on my camera body. I threw a few of the good shots on my deviantART and they look really good there.

After, I caught a midnight movie, X-men with Kelvin. I know there wouldn't be Wolverine but gosh, it really isn't as interesting since I kind of knew quite a bit about X-men so it wasn't exactly too surprising when the pieces fit.

Sunday/Monday
Slept in a little, and later went out to photograph skaters at the request of Kelvin. I don't think I fared too badly, but I would've done better with a wide angle lens.

This is the first time I've ever heard a guy tell me he likes to be photographed so I held nothing back.

We kind of went around places and these guys almost make me want to try skating myself. I'm borrowing Val's deck for a while... (but the only thing I know is to fall down)

Down six steps - his face looks so relaxed.

Over a bin - his face is still so damn relaxed.

I have to get down on the ground to get angle. The floor is my best friend.

Ollie in the underpass. So noisy.

This guy's my age and he skates too damn well already.

Down another six steps - wider steps this time. What the fuck.

It rained later in the morning and we retreated to *Scape and skated. I don't know where all these people come from. The world is too small - they just keep coming, even in the dead of the night.

This guy is really skinny and his limbs are really long. He also skates really well. I am just so blown away. While others were doing a few flips and jumps and all, he was like trying to kill. The previous sentence is a gross understatement.

I didn't really survive the night 'cause I didn't actually get enough sleep previously.

NOW
I am actually supposed to be done with editting the pictures for Saturday's show but I'm not even halfway through. This is so bad. But right now, I'm gonna catch the blood moon. Hoho.

I love God. ♥
