There's no guarantee we'll make it alive
![]() Taken with Canon's 50mm f/1.4 lens loooong ago... It's been raining lately, and it's a good thing 'cause that's the closest to snow we ever get, living near the equator. Come to think of it, it doesn't rain much on weekdays but when it does, it's when I'm heading to school... makes me want to return to bed immediately... School has been okay, maybe fun, with my classmates. The pace is still quite relaxed, I can't quite imagine what it'll be like the next semester. But I guess I'll worry later, huh. And I pretty much dislike some of the seniors in the school - those who act like know-it-alls, looking down on freshmen, talking in their 'design terminology' and think all freshmen are dumb and stupid and know nothing about design at all. I've passed by some in the halls who actually talk like this, 'discussing' about their current projects, and what's dumb for one pair of them is that they were talking about some interior design floor plan drawing, bombing big words in every sentence like I don't know what they're talking about, and thinking they're really big and all... They didn't have to talk extra loud about it 'cause I'm the only one walking by. Anyway, I've been drawing a bit, and I'm currently obsessed about whales, humpback whales, to be specific. I've no idea why, but they're such graceful and majestic creatures, there's no wonder... ![]() ![]() I've kinda coloured the whale too dark... but its eye is of acrylic paint so it's visible on my sketchbook! | Drew Tengu for Laura :) ![]() ![]() And they lived happily ever after... Need I say more? | Made a few slices of strawberry cake for my 3D class... Didn't take pix of the berries. ![]() I was lazy to draw more trees and tombstones..! Hahaha. This was for Creative Process class, some random assignment. Watercolour & classic colour pencils, soft pastels, copic marker, fine liner on A3 cartridge paper. Took about 3 half hours, I think. ![]() Ya, you can haz a picture of my working space. ![]() Another assignment for Creative process class... Create our own joker card. Watercolour pencils, indian ink, marker, fine liner in 10x18 rectangle on A4 art card. Took about 8 half hours. To me, a joker is two-faced and cunning, therefore the theatrical mask, wolf and poison ivy (in red) element. Lies are built upon one another, which will kill the liar himself like he's run out of oxygen, therefore the curling poison ivy, and it's in red because it's stained with the blood of the innocent he's harmed. Diamond background because the leaves of his poison ivy is diamond-shaped, the shape that should strike fear in his victims. ^.^ ![]() 1st assignment for Illustration Design class. Self-portrait. Watercolour pencils and fineliner on A4 cartridge paper. Took about 2 hours, I think. ![]() So gross I don't want it to be so huge on my blog... Pardon the deliberate misalignment. 2nd assignment for Illustration Design class... We were just given some objects to select and draw with... I chose human, candy, money. Watercolour pencils, soft pastel, fine liner on A3 watercolour paper. Took quite a while, waiting for the water to dry... Did it through the night. Well of course I had some reference for the hand and face... I drew the doll when I was with Fah! Yes I like watercolour pencils and soft pastels. And I like Illustration Design class. Okay that's just about all the ~*~impressive~*~ works I've done so far which is only mediocre... |
