Your vaulted ceilings are of no comparison to the sky - won't you let me show you out?

Happy November everybody! The past 14 weeks of school have been a blast and I'm kind of glad it's over... And so it means I have about two half more years to go until I complete my diploma. :) I've to say the curriculum is quite different, and my classmates are all very nice, encouraging and open minded people. Right now, we have 3 more weeks of one last project and semester one will be over. I hope I keep on track this time!

Anyway since I have nothing interesting to update this space with, I shall put up one of my module's (3D Studies) work... which I made a Mexican Red Knee for. I think I could've done better but I managed to complete this in 1 half day so I think it's cool. Enjoy! :D

I've no idea why I named it Lenny because right now I don't know what to do with it...

If you're wondering what those two tiny 'legs' are, those aren't legs, they're the chelicerae and that's where the tarantula's fangs are.

Fun facts:
- Each leg has 7 segments, and there are two or three retractable claws (like cats) at the end of each leg to grip surfaces for climbing.
- Falls are fatal to tarantulas as they are thin-skinned and the impact of even a little fall can cause its exoskeleton to rupture.
- Tarantulas can regenerate lost limbs or repair any damage through molting.
- Tarantulas will raise its front legs to signal that it's about to attack.
- Eye arrangement is unique to every species of spider.
