'Twas a Merry Christmas - I received more Christmas wishes than birthday's. I only have one thing to say: What's the point of Christmas, when you've got it all wrong anyway?

Almost all holidays have some sort of gathering, and though people do remember what it is, there just isn't this need to understand why it even became a holiday. Not that I'm an anal holiday freak or whatsoever, it just kind of bugs me at times when people don't know why they're doing the things they do. It's like monkey see, monkey do. But what's surprising now, in a society like this, how everything's watered down and diluted, how nothing really matters anymore.

So anyway, the days that led up to Christmas was a mix of meaningful, eventful, boredom, productive and nothing.

Last Thursday, I met a few of the local kids from my class 1D and we had a little gift exchange and steamboat! I didn't know what to buy, so I ended up with a lego keychain of the alien from Toy Story. It eventually went to Kaitlin and I got cute hand cream and egg white face mask cream from Ashley. We met at Mind Cafe to play some games and exchange gifts before going to eat. And we just kept eating non stop for 2 hours. It was good. Then we had Rochor beancurd... in a record time of 8 minutes - seriously? It's the fastest I've ever chilled there.

On Christmas itself, I pulled myself out of bed after Cedric called me up. He did invite me to church but I turned him down :) We met to buy his toys/figurines... I honestly do not know why I've to follow him... :D He bought me a bar of dark chocolates for a present and wrote a card, but this time, he shamelessly declared himself as my 'Super Best Friend Forever'. ROFL, I haven't yet promoted him! I didn't have anything for him because I wasn't expecting anything and I am a bad friend. Hahaha


I didn't intend to buy anything but ended up with these comics. Teehee. | And there you have a monster.
Then we walked around a bit along the river and it was muddy like teh peng. Since I brought my camera out, I did some street photography... which is basically snapping random pictures of random people doing random things at random times. It was okay.

We headed off to town later, where I found the super adorbz Stitch iPhone cover I saw on Tumblr a while back. And Cedric bought it for me, as a belated (two years) birthday present... He was trying to convince me to let him buy it for me, hahaha what a friend.


BUT LOOK, IT'S MIGHTY ADORBZ. | CHECK OUT THIS SUPER OLD SCHOOL GAME I LOVED IT.
Then we walked around a bit more before sitting down to eat. Basically we spent the entire day walking all around CBD area and the soles of my feet almost felt numb. But it didn't feel like we walked a lot. Oh, did I mention Cedric's a nutritionist?

Oh yes, and there was this little retarded conversation -

C: I don't like this on your head.
Me: What
C: This (stabs somewhere on my head)
Me: Wtf this is my parting! (shields my head)

My parting isn't something I can help anyday.

Go! Go! Curry! was okay. It didn't look like I was eating curry, it looked more like BBQ sauce... But it was delicious!
Then we went home. As with most guys I know now, they're either in the army or about to enlist, and Cedric's enlisting next March. Hahaha, times like these I'm glad I'm female - I can leave the country when I finish my studies. Or now, if I fancy. :D

I shall save my street photographs for the next post :) Feels like an overload...
