It's an annual thing for me to bake. Maybe twice or thrice sometimes, special occasions and whatnots, but no matter what it is, I'll definitely bake for Christmas. There are the usual few people I'd give to, and this year, Neny and Lars (bosses from my previous workplace, Prints) finally got the cookies! While I've worked with them during Christmas '09 and '10, my cookies never reached them. :( I don't know what their verdict is, guess I'll only find out during CNY next year~ (Yeah, pineapple tarts!)

Anyway, work has been so-so at the arts gallery. I think my stamina has increased (the walking distance from Orchard station to there, walking up slopes, climbing up and down stairs, then up another slope), along with my strength (having to open 4 metal shutters everyday) and, believe it or not, my mosquito killing skills. I can kill them without having to look (but I'm the bait). But I've had enough of it, my arms look really abused now. So I succumbed/resigned to buying some insect repellant cream, and it's good. It has some non-greasy formula and today, I haven't been bitten. ^o^ On the down side, I smell like baby lotion.


Yesterday, I went to Teh with Fah. We first headed to print her FYP stuff, then I treated her to Frolick, since it was a Thursday! Woah, I kind of miss my classmates, 'cause we'd usually pass by Bugis on our way back. And if it's a Tuesday or Thursday, we'll have Frolick. :p Later we went to collect the clothes she'd reserved then we went to Teh.

We bumped into Zakk and this two other seniors I met at TEDx Youth Day '11 a while back. Unintentionally stalking/noticing that Syai had checked in to Bugis Street on Foursquare, I let Fah know, and wahey (wtf is this word), Syai joined us at Teh. :) The food was good but my ulcer made it bad... I will Teh with Fah again.

On the same day, the train system had a major breakdown. We were on the green line, and even thought the train would be bursting full! But we were wrong and thankfully found seats all the way back up. I don't know what to feel about the breakdown but... nothing's perfect, accidents happen - if the CEO is to step down from this, what benefits would anyone get, really? Some people are too irrational... But it's cool that not everyone's hating on SMRT. I don't even see a reason to. Crucify them for one mistake, when they provide transport for you all days of the year. In fact everyone just takes every day things for granted. /LE SHRUG/

I FUCKING HAVE COMPANY FOR A SKYLIT DRIVE'S SHOW IN FEBRUARY!!! I TELL YOU, MY PRIMARY SCHOOL MATE IS HEAVENSENT. I SWEAR, I'M STILL BLOWN AWAY BY THIS FACT I'VE MANAGED TO UNEARTH AND SO I WON'T BE GOING ALONE! I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE EXCITED TEEHEE. OMG I CAN'T WAIT FOR 24 FEB. I CAN'T WAIT, IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE EVENTS OF THAT DATE.
