If I'm James Dean, you're Audrey Hepburn.
![]() Happy February! It's pretty insane how January flew by... at least for me, since I have 4 schooling days and 3 weekend/off days. Also, my school hours are short so maybe that's why time flies even when I'm schooling. Then again, I've been impatient with January, willing it to quickly go away so... I guess everything sums up to why January flew by for me. So far I've actually submitted all my work on time! The worst sin I've committed this term is only skipping two classes. I deserve an award. I really do, especially for Thursdays, where I only have a 2 hour class and I've to travel all the way to town just for that... I really don't like travelling so much anymore, yet it definitely looks as if I can never escape from it. Half the time I'm used to it, but for the most, it's already an integral part of me. Anyway let me tell you a funny story (concerning me) that happened over CNY, and it includes that Maltese in the above picture, which belongs to my granny. It's a really pampered and fat dog, easily excited and lazy. It jumps and barks at every visitor, then calms down after (typical?) and it's most hyper when there's food involved. It also likes to sit under the dining table when we eat so... During reunion dinner, while everyone was eating happily, the Dog laid under the table. Suddenly it walked off. At first I didn't notice, then I saw the Dog come back and look up at me. It had something in its mouth. Something grey. Hello I wore grey socks today. Omg, it had my sock and refused to return it back. Everyone was busy with food and the Dog thought otherwise about my sock... :( I did get my sock back in the end. ![]() ![]() One of the modules this semester had something to do with human proportion/anatomy. Evidently it's one of my weaker skills (meaning I take twice the amount of time to complete the assignment compared to other normal students) and I really dreaded starting on it. Still, I had to do it. So I did it. I went to buy a wooden mannequin because I cannot visualise human movement well (or at all). I think I'm good with drawing hands so I shall continue on it. Hands are nice. Let me tell you another funny story which happened recently. A couple of days the past week I didn't sleep well, and I didn't get a wink of sleep in the last day (it's normal but everything adds up to a major 'tired' in the end). So I was really sleepy... Also recently I changed my phone's password again, to some german word. German word. That really sleepy morning I couldn't unlock my phone for the life of me. I could only remember the last three letters, what the hell. It obviously doesn't help at all. Anyway I changed my password to another german phrase. I can remember it better now. ![]() So that morning I wanted to get a cup of my awesome Starbucks fix. But it was unavailable at the outlet near my school. It was a bad morning. And the Nightmare before Christmas ring is the best toy/thing/accessory/etc I've ever got from a Gachapon machine. I really like it a lot. Laura was with me when we wasted money then we went to watch 'Haywire', which was a really bad movie since the trailer made it seem like a action film but WOW, everything was so calm, so calm - I think it's a mystery/action film instead. Maybe you can actually ignore the 'action' altogether because it is nothing of the sort. Aaand... as you can see, I clearly can't tell anecdotes well. |
