If I just keep moving, will I be okay?

Just completed this project! More about it here.

Submission was yesterday, presentation's this thursday. I had the biggest scare of my entire life yesterday, an hour before submission! My submission disk got stuck in my friend's MBP, her Mac wasn't reading my disk, it was making weird noises... We were running out of time and battery. Google wasn't exactly helpful with the first few suggestions, making us do weird things. I had to call my friends but they didn't really know how to, either... The last suggestion worked, and it was such an anti climatic end to the 40 minutes long panic. All we had to do was type some command into the Terminal and reboot her Mac. I swear my lifespan shortened by 10 years.

Anyway, all was well. I must admit I didn't use my 3 weeks (for this project) well, at all. While it's true everything's easier when you've got your idea nailed, I only started work on the last week when I could have on the second week. I would've had less or no sleepless nights at all! Nevertheless, the past 3 weeks had been a blast - schoolwork, work and fun ;) I can't believe I actually juggled them all and made it out in one piece, albeit a few chips off the edges...

I rendered by pen for this project. Since I barely render anything at all, this is quite a huge accomplishment for me. It is really tedious... but the end result is so amazing, it's worth it all :') I realise I only have one behind the scenes shot because I was concentrating so much on rendering...

Rendering the tiger in progress... The tiger's the easiest, yet it takes the longest to render.

If you follow me on instagram/twitter, you would've already seen these pictures :)

This Koi is so magical, it has to be on my blog.

You can see all the pictures of my project on my portfolio. I do have a few people to thank for contributing to this project, whether they know it or not.

Mr. Neil Gaiman
For having inspired me to write this piece, which later contributed to this project. For being an amazing author, the words you write are simply magical, as with the other writers I look up to.

Mr. Faris Akbar
For having taught me before. For everything I'll ever need to know about design. Oh, I'll always credit you in all my projects... Your lectures have opened my mind and made me think more.

Fah
For being my model and helping out, despite last minute requests... For talking to me, just talking to me.

Biscuit
You didn't exactly help much but, okay, thanks for your moral support and everything else.

And here's a test shot that turned out really great. :)
