I swear I'm not bitter, I just see them for what they are.

Food Revolution 2012 - surrounded by really awesome food for 5 days :)
Macarons from I's Pot Catering | Freshly cooked Mushroom/Beef Bulgogi by Chef Yang from Sarangchae restaurant | Kueh Paiti from Pines Catering

I thought my holidays would be slow and boring but it was the polar opposite of everything I thought it would be and was nothing I ever expected. The following week from the last post, things slowly started to pick up. Other than watching every Jeremy Renner movie, I spent a Sunday with Laura before she returned home. Sadly I wasn't a good host so I shall be better when she comes back again... soon :D

She's such a sweetie (HAHAHA I'm so gonna get kicked) 'cause we still whatsapp each other and she misses me already~ I miss her too - we're like an old couple, always bickering about stupid, useless, irrelevant yet relevant things. And we're always on the same team for presentations or group work. Don't know how we tahan (tolerate) each other...

Then there was the food fair. Do not be confused with the one that's always held at the Expo because this is a slightly more high-class food fair (?). You don't really get free samples, but the (sample) portion you pay for is really worth the money. Also, there are small cooking classes with real chefs at the helm! It's only after being at this fair that I come to know of the many awesome eateries in the vicinity of my school. I also met many wonderful people, both the part-timers and the bosses/ICs.

Also, there were 2 student chefs from TP stationed at our booths! So cool although they weren't exactly cooking fiery dishes but... it's not everywhere you bump into a student chef/chef in the making. I kind of miss everyone already :s but fairs don't last forever...

Everywhere I go, I'm usually the smallest (in terms of build). At the fair I met another like me :) Don't we look sooo young (and small) together~ Look how small we are next to that A&F model! On the day our pay cashed in, we went out. HAHAHA all the quality pictures are of food though. Guess we were too busy looking at clothes and whatnots...

I barely had time to rest before the next event. Somehow I don't know where all these events come from :s But it's the holidays now so it's the best time to organise events so parents have reasons to bring the entire family out (and spend money).

The most amazing place atop Mount Faber @ The Jewel Box is the restroom (and it's called The Iconic Restroom). Its temperature is a constant 18°C so it's like a little haven from the unearthly heat of this climate. That aside, it really is a restroom.

The scenery that greets you once you step in B-D

Pretty sinks/placement/everything/I cannot/so where are the mirrors?

The walls are like the mirrors - here's a pretty amateur 360° view of the restroom. Click to enlarge.

The only thing they lack is heated toilet seats... :B

Through the 3 days, my team and I travelled by the cable cars. We've become a little bored of it :s And those who are afraid aren't as terrified any longer~

I would say my time has been well spent so far. So far I only have Poshism's Fashion Feud coming up (and some classes I've signed up for) so I shall sleep in until then!
