There's nothing wrong with just a taste of what you paid for.

Christmas @ The Jewel Box :)

The holidays have been a mix of both productive/unproductive, and eventful. Oh, I don't know, it's always just good and bad.

Laura left for home when school ended, then she suddenly appeared one week and we had lunch together. AND she also got me the really super spicy singkong chips! I ended up carrying it the entire day in my bag like some smuggler. HAHA and I parted half my inheritance to Alane, who gave me Laurent Bernard chocolates later because she doesn't like chocolates. Why she doesn't like chocolates will forever be a mystery to me.

Oh, and curry rice... I've been dying to try all the curry rice from COCOichibanya since I ate it with Brandon/ChenHan. To date, I've been to all 3 outlets already, and I think the Bugis+ outlet is the most spacious. But the food quality there is another story...

Though it's the holidays, between my Y1 bunch our schedules always clash u_u we've only been able to meet altogether just once so far and we're almost halfway through the holidays! Also I've been getting offers for jobs I know others can do better than me u_u but that's fine. And it's also always fine to just watch Lesley draw :) I watched her draw my tat also, from nothingness to a really wonderful piece, which I will never, in a million years even, be able to do...

This piece is already completed, over here.

Occasionally I like to walk into bookstores and look through books on sale (it's like an adoption drive). Most of the time I walk out with one or two books but on Saturday I walked out of Kinokuniya feeling like a million bucks. :'D I'm glad I've always put off purchasing Coraline because it's been rereleased with a 10th anniversary edition cover... AND THERE'S THE HARDCOVER AND AUTOGRAPHED VERSION. It was a little pricey but well fuck it take my money you perfect man

I was slightly apprehensive at first because of the packaging, but all my doubts evaporated when I opened the book and looked at the signatures. Not gonna lie, I did scream as I unboxed the package. Hehe I'm still so proud of it - from the book, to the autographed, to the numbered copy I got, to the ink blotch at the back of the first page. Because it's autographed, it means Neil actually touched the book that I have now. :'D Sigh. I shall end my fangirl moment right now.

On the same day, I went on a slightly major shopping spree with Cheryl (though I think the items we bought were just expensive/big, not expensive/many small items). All our stuffs... We had to throw it into J's car because there wasn't space in the shop LOL.

Look at bunny-chan!! 5eva alone with me.

I hate rabbits but this is only vaguely a rabbit... and it's from Cheryl so it's okay. I spend the most money with Cheryl, buying things I would've easily persuaded myself not to... And also with another friend, but we spend money on FOOD. Is it better to spend money on ~nice~ things you really like/want, or on nice food? Another question I will never be able to figure out the answer to...

Work on the mountain has been fun albeit the heat and the occasional annoying customers. It's been raining lately so we've either been seeing red moons or purple sunsets :) A customer told me [my colleagues and I] are kinda lucky to be working up here but... I don't know what to respond to that. Haha. Here's a purple sunset for you, iphone quality only - I ran out in the drizzle to get this shot.
