Anything you say can and will be held against you, so only say my name it will be held against you.
![]() Props designed by yours truly. So my internship has come to an end! Here's my little speech from my facebook wall... Really super thankful and blessed to have met absolutely fantastic, patient and friendly people through my course of internship. It was a really interesting journey albeit a short one, and I've learnt a lot. Though I probably contributed as much help as I've caused destruction, I wouldn't change it anything else at all. Thank you Adrian Lee for your guidance and lame jokes and sorry for all the times I caused your blood to boil (in anger, exasperation and what nots). Thank you Wenkai & Teresa also since you guys are part of the studio, it was really fun during the gown shoot! Thank you Jason Wong for the lamest jokes ever haha and being saigang warrior with me. Hope I'll get to see you guys again soon, please don't just bombard me with photos to edit okay hahaha it's been the best 7 weeks of 2013 for me ♥ ♥ So... Remember Andrea's gown fitting in the previous post? ![]() ![]() The gown shoot went really well though it was exhausting. We had a wonderful make up artist, two really talented models and the sai gang warriors (aka the people who needed to get the pictures). Well actually we only planned to shoot 12 dresses (6 each), but the models made the dresses look so damn fine, we threw away the initial plan and tried to squeeze in as many dresses as we could. Hahaha. ![]() It wasn't a real day wedding yet we got an almost actual day wedding set-up! The artist started dolling up our models before getting the dresses on, and wow, make-up really does wonders not in just making people pretty, but pulling everything together. ![]() ![]() One of our two models, Evalee. She's really amazing, *o* You may see her in some roles on Channel 8 shows or being in some commercials :D Because bridal make-up is generally heavier, she may look slightly different from this post... ![]() ![]() Of course, my fair lady, Andrea being all bad ass in her dresses hahaha. Shooting gowns aren't really that simple. Aside from knowing how to pose the models (making them look their best in shots), it's also necessary to understand the dresses and making it look good too. Teresa did tell us what we needed to show for each gown but it was such a challenge, hahaha. I think I only contributed 20% of all the shots taken that day :( Okay maybe lesser like 10% ![]() ![]() ![]() From this, I learnt how to do up corset back dresses in a pretty decent amount of time and also what to watch out for when shooting such elaborate outfits. I still suck at posing people but definitely not as clueless as two months ago! :) Of course this shoot wouldn't have been possible without this amazing bunch of people who stayed with us for at least 8-10 hours straight!! :) ![]() From left to right: Wenkai and Teresa (BeyondPictures cinematography and Epitome of Love), for taking behind the scenes video and finding Evalee, and providing the gowns! Evalee and Andrea, for being fantastic and wonderful models! Wendy, for being our makeup artist and staying all the way through though we ended really late! Me, for finding Andrea and taking over Adrian when he’s tired haha Adrian, for being the photographer and providing the lighting equipments! And here are two photos Adrian selectively chose to edit. So gorgeous ♥ w ♥ I'm not done with choosing Andrea's pictures but I'll go back and grab them just for Andrea, hahaha. And also for another gown shoot, but just between Adrian, me and my friend. Hehe. ![]() ![]() |
