Pretty girl, you should be smiling.
![]() I have not updated in 3 months. Things have been so busy since I started Year 3. Not gonna lie but I started off on a really bad foot with super bad/poor time management and I swear I almost died. If I were still in SP and if I fucked up from the start, I would be a total goner already. So I'm really thankful I still managed to pull off all this crap and not flunk anything at all... So, lots of shit happened since my last entry. I've climbed over some of the biggest mountains in my life so far, mountains I thought I'd just fall and die from, mountains that seemed impossible to scale years ago... I'm still alive in one piece (almost). I went back before my surgery to grab the gown photos and these are few I edited! There's a lot more sitting in my laptop but I'm so lazy to get to fixing them... Hehe. Oh we had a small shoot with Carmel after my surgery because Adrian wanted to try something. We had fun... Hahaha ![]() ![]() --- I ended my internship 3 weeks earlier so I could get my wisdom tooth surgery done. Because I was a coward, I went under and had all 4 teeth taken out instead. I had the best dentist ever (through my previous orthodontist, and the surgeon who took me for my gum surgery). He was really friendly and gentle, and absolutely professional - my surgery was done in 30 minutes and he only had to shatter my bottom teeth twice at most to get it out. So if you ever need to get your wisdom tooth extracted, do drop by Mt. Alvernia Hospital's Dental Clinic and look for Dr. Anthony Goh! ![]() Mount Alvernia Hospital Clinic: Progressive Dental Specialists Pte Ltd Address: 820 Thomson Road Mount Alvernia Medical Centre Block B #03-10 Singapore 574623 Telephone: 6251-1189 The healing period was fine, and like I said I was a coward, so I asked for the strongest painkiller that won't kill me if I accidentally overdosed. Turns out I didn't really need it, at least I only took it for the first two days. I was just really afraid of stray pieces of food falling into the wound because an infected gum is a bitch. My previous gum surgery (specifically the second) left me a little shaken because the anaesthestic wore off a bit too early after the surgery. I did not want to go through that pain because it literally felt like a migraine in the jaw, and it hurt my whole head so bad... Oh, there weren't any major bruising through the healing period for me so it was a good experience! Thank you Dr. Goh! You saved my life, honestly. I was so afraid for this when I was 15, when my orthodontist told me I had 4 and I would definitely have to have them all taken out. Thank you for almost ruining the rest of my teenage life... Haha. --- Right after that, FALL OUT BOY CAME TO SINGAPORE, AND PERFORMED FOR US. I can really die in peace now that I've seen my precious boys live. At the show I made some friends (or rather I already made friends, but haven't seen them in person) and now I have concert buddies! Awesome. ![]() ![]() All my boys were in their top form that night, and it was the first time I've been in the free standing pit near the middle - it was total insanity. I was afraid I might faint from the heat and whatnot but I did not, and I am grateful for that. I am also very thankful that, despite everyone's sweaty bodies rubbing against each other with their arms raised up in the air, there was no BO at all. And to the two nice guys behind who helped pushed away this bastard that kept "rocking" too hard to the point of knocking me off my feet, thank you so much :) Ohhhh and thank you to Laura for accompanying me to this concert! Thank you for being so awesome, for rushing down after class (though school is just 10 minutes away) with food and joining me! You're the best Indonesian friend ever. Mwa. ![]() --- Also I bought a guitar! To say I've always wanted one is pretty much an exaggeration. I have wanted one but it was never on my list to actually get one but the moment I saw this one, I knew I had to get it. So I guess it's partially an impulse buy? But I've been playing on it almost every day and my fingers are slightly seasoned? So nice. I decided to choose the nicer looking one ToT so it's gonna take a longer while for the sound to be round. But it's okay! All's good man. --- Proud to say I've finally been inside MBS and stayed for the night! Courtesy of Carmel and her family. They were really nice and I felt bad for crashing in but they welcomed me like family :') It was a really nice stayover and I didn't feel much awkwardness. MBS is pretty nice but the history behind its entire being is just ridiculous. *Rolls eyes* ![]() ![]() --- Had a few sleep/work overs at Carmel's and whether we were productive or not... Well I think we were. HAHA ![]() Oh, her family friend from the UK stopped over Singapore for a little holiday so we brought her out, in the midst of our submissions. Okay so maybe that's why we were busier than the rest... We brought her to eat quite a number of things while she was here for about a week or two, and she also went to the zoo! I think I was more excited than her inside the zoo, hahaha. ![]() ![]() ![]() --- My cousin recently got married and I'm happy for her. However I clearly suffer from occupational disease (职业病) that even at her wedding as an audience I'm noticing all the little flaws and whatnots.. I definitely had fun dressing up for her wedding because I already planned what to wear a month ago, hahaha. --- I've been spending too much money recently too, buying things I like but don't really need. But now I've got awesome new shirts, so it's okay. :') ![]() ![]() Also, I've been doing stupid things with my classmates and I've been hanging out with my old and new buds a lot recently and I'm very happy to see them... though it's not all of them. :') 12 Oct is coming soon! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
